The Mysore Obstetrics & Gynaecological Society (MOGS) was founded in September 1984 by a visionary group of consultants led by Dr. Stephen, Senior Consultant at Holdsworth Memorial Hospital, who served as the Founder President, and Dr. S. N. Kaulgud, Professor and Head of the Department at Cheluvamba Hospital, who served as the Founder Secretary.
